The Penn-Del IPM group is involved in research on various ornamental pests. We use on the ground data, weather reports and visual inspections to monitor pests in the southeast region of Pennsylvania and northern Delaware.  We have a database comprised of over 12 years of monitoring data.

1.  Ornamental Pest Report: This report correlates the activity of landscape and nursery insect and mite pests to GDD (growing degree days) and plant phenology life stages. This report is available through subscription starting March 1 to the end of October. Ornamental Pest Report Subscription Form in PDF Format

2.  Developed a series of IPM publications for consumer/commercial clientele called "Creating Healthy Landscapes". There are 9 in all and can be viewed and printed under the Fact Sheet link.

3.  Develop/conduct educational workshops/conferences to disseminate current ornamental IPM research in collaboration with ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) and professional grounds and management societies.
